NSW: Roads blocked south of Wollongong

Falling trees have blocked roads connecting the Illawarra and Southern Highlands areas
south of Wollongong in New South Wales.

Police say the Illawarra Highway is blocked at Macquarie Pass between Robertson and Albion Park.

Neighbouring Jamberoo Road is also blocked between Robertson and Jamberoo.

Police say local councils are trying to clear both roads, and they are expected to
open later today.

Destructive winds have blasted across New South Wales in recent days, bringing down
