NSW: Truck driver killed by excavator in Sydney's west
A man's been run over and killed by an excavator in Luddenham in western Sydney.
Police say the 30-year-old Wallacia man was in his tipper truck working at the backof a property about 6pm (AEDT) yesterday.
Another man was using a Bobcat excavator to remove the truck's load of soil.
A police spokesman says that for some reason the tipper truck driver went behind theBobcat and was run over.
The man was rushed to Nepean Hospital but couldn't be revived.
An inquiry is underway and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
