FED:Costing briefing for independents=6
Ms Gillard said she was not seeking access to opposition costings while Treasury was
costing policies.
But once Treasury had reached the end of that process, every Australian should have
access to that information.
"Every Australian has access to the government's costings. Every Australian should
have access to Mr Abbott's costings done by Treasury," she said.
"That is fundamental to the national interest and Mr Abbott should agree to that.
"It seems to me that Mr Abbott cannot find a credible objection to that."
