Geodesic Inks Pact with UbiNuri to Offer Mundu IM Through Korean App Stores.

Geodesic Limited, a provider of mobile and desktop solutions for instant messaging, VoIP and Internet radio, announced it has signed a deal with UbiNuri, a mobile solution provider which distributes Android applications to Korean mobile phone users.

With this agreement, UbiNuri can sell Geodesic's universal IM solution, Mundu IM, through its own app store, as well as through those of Korea's major mobile service operators.

"With the explosion of smart phones in Korea, users are looking for mobile applications that enhance their lifestyle - providing anytime, anywhere access to friends, colleagues, entertainment and information," said Arvind Venkateswaran, Geodesic's SVP of worldwide business development. "Mundu IM allows users to chat, tweet, track friends' locations, share photos and more from their home, office or while in transit. We are delighted that UbiNuri is bringing Mundu IM to a broad base of Korean mobile phone users."

"UbiNuri has become an important hub for distributing applications to the fast growing Korean mobile phone market," said Paul Noh, UbiNuri's founder and CEO. "Our ecosystem - which includes Korean app stores, as well as service operators and smartphone manufacturers - provides mobile users ready access to the most valuable mobile phone applications the world has to offer."

Geodesic's universal mobile IM solution combines all of the most popular IM services, including Yahoo!, AOL, MSN, ICQ and Google Talk, with collaboration across mobile, web and desktop platforms, enabling users to chat from wherever they are.
