Vic: Man hurt in jetski crash
MELBOURNE, Dec 6 AAP - A man has been injured in a jet ski crash off Point Nepean,
south of Melbourne.
The accident happened at Corsair Rock, about 2km off-shore, about 5pm (AEDT) on Sunday,
police said.
Corsair Rock is an outcrop in The Rip, the narrow entrance to Port Phillip Bay.
The 39-year-old man lost control while attempting a backflip and was struck on the
head with the jet ski and lost consciousness.
He was pulled into a nearby boat and regained consciousness on the way back to the
Sorrento boat ramp.
He was then flown by air ambulance to The Alfred Hospital.
